ATI’s Inland Empire facility has played a helping hand with restoration, reconstruction, and disaster recovery efforts during some of Southern California’s most notorious wildfires during 2005 and 2007. Thousands of separate fires raged during these seasons, burning so intensely that they were visible from space. More than one million people were forced to leave their homes, making these wildfires the cause of the largest evacuation in California history. ATI’s experienced Inland Empire staff served a vital role in smoke/fire damage remediation, property restoration, and reconstruction in hundreds of residential and commercial areas to help get families safely back in their homes and Southern California businesses back on their feet after these disastrous fires.

Our Inland Empire team was dispatched to a high school campus where the cafeteria had suffered fire damage, resulting in a total loss of the 40,000 square-foot structure.

The day after the fire, ATI’s representative walked the loss site with school officials, and we were assigned the job of demolition and environmental remediation on the spot. Within hours after receiving the job, a large crew of ATI personnel arrived on-site to begin work. Demolition and environmental remediation services included asbestos removal, lead removal, and polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) decontamination and disposal. Despite the environmental challenges, this dangerous demolition job was safely completed with no accidents, within the school’s one-month time frame and nearly $60,000 under budget.

As a family-owned company, community involvement with local organizations is of paramount importance to us. Every year, we hold an annual charity golf fundraiser to support one of Orange County’s most well-known charities for children, the Ronald McDonald House.
