Eric Gotham

Vice President

Eric has 24 years of experience in the restoration and reconstruction industry, and has worked at ATI for the past 17 years.   His background includes cost estimating, auditing, and project management for large losses impacting commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, and school/university properties. Eric’s service areas of excellence include water damage, fire and smoke damage, emergency response, and reconstruction projects.

Today, Eric serves as ATI’s Vice President for the San Diego and Las Vegas regions.  His key responsibilities include overseeing ATI’s existing accounts and new business development, monitoring and creating new systems to drive value for customers, developing ATI talent, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service, and managing all financial aspects. Eric is passionate about identifying talent and helping others grow their careers at ATI, which has resulted in various in-house promotions, stronger teams and continuous improvement. He serves as a mentor to his team, sharing best practices gained through decades of industry experience. His unique ability to listen and show empathy toward ATI staff and customers enables him to effectively solve problems and drive successful outcomes for each project.

Eric’s previous positions with ATI include Project Director, Assistant Regional Manager and Regional Manager. Throughout his tenure, he has played an instrumental role in growing our business using innovative approaches.  When Eric joined ATI 17 years ago, the San Diego office had been partnering with insurance companies and general contractors to secure projects.  However, Eric saw an opportunity to develop new business relationships with property management companies, which created additional business opportunities for ATI. Today, this customer segment is one of our largest.  As part of ATI’s first ever Health Science Services (HSS) team, he was also one of the first Project Directors to support hospitals and their affiliates. The healthcare sector remains a key area for growth potential at ATI.

Some of Eric’s noteworthy projects were in response to the:

  • 1994 Northridge earthquake
  • 1997-1998 California El Nino storm
  • 2003 San Diego Cedar wildfire
  • 2007 San Diego Witch Creek wildfire
  • 2016-2017 California El Nino storm

He holds multiple industry certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) organization, including water damage restoration, fire and smoke restoration, odor control, applied microbial remediation and applied structural drying. Eric obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in economics, with an emphasis in accounting, from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
